Terms of Service

Effective: May 3, 2026

By using FilingDiff ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What We Do

FilingDiff uses AI to compare SEC filings and highlight material changes. All filing data comes from SEC EDGAR, a public government data source.

2. Not Investment Advice

FilingDiff is not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, or financial planner. Our reports are informational summaries only. They do not constitute investment advice, recommendations, or solicitations. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions. Always consult a qualified financial professional before making investment decisions.

3. AI Disclaimer

Summaries are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations. We make no guarantee of accuracy or completeness. Every report includes a link to the original SEC filing — you should always verify information against the source document.

4. Data Source

Filing data is sourced from SEC EDGAR. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of data provided by the SEC. FilingDiff is not affiliated with or endorsed by the SEC.

5. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Account sharing is prohibited. Each account is for a single individual. We enforce a concurrent session limit; excessive concurrent sessions from different locations may result in session termination or account suspension.

6. Free and Pro Tiers

Free accounts can read up to 3 full reports per calendar month (the per-user counter tracks unique reports opened in full; re-opening the same report does not count twice). Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at the listed price. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial months. The 7-day free trial requires no credit card; after the trial, you must subscribe to continue Pro access.

7. Acceptable Use

You may not:

8. Content and Intellectual Property

All content on FilingDiff — including AI-generated summaries, headlines, bullets, narrative text, the report layout and schema, the underlying prompts, and the FilingDiff name and brand — is provided for the personal, non-commercial use of registered users.

You may share individual reports with attribution (e.g., quoting bullets in a Reddit thread or blog post that links back to FilingDiff). You may not, without prior written permission:

9. Source Filings

SEC filings referenced in our reports are public records filed by their respective issuers (Apple Inc., Tesla, Inc., etc.) and remain the property of those issuers. FilingDiff quotes excerpts from filings for analytical commentary, transformative summarization, and education under fair-use principles. Every report links to the original filing on SEC.gov for verification.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FilingDiff and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
